Research Objective
Since 1993, a PV system has been operating on the Jungfraujoch to analyze the reliability and performance of solar modules in alpine conditions. This research focuses on evaluating the impact of extreme weather, high altitudes, and snowfall on solar energy systems, with the aim of improving the durability and efficiency of PV technology in harsh climates.
